Have you ever done a wire transfer?I used to think Bitcoin would change the world. I used to think everyone would use it one day. But then I got into it.. And realized it kind of sucked.I started dabbling around, learning about how it works and reading some articles. I found it had a lot of flaws, and was pretty shit at transacting.I lost hope in it but looked to altcoins for potential. Then one day, I had to grow up. I had to get a real job and work for real money, which I put some of into Crypto for a bit of fun. Then the day came where I had to wire transfer some money to my parents back home..40 fucking minutes on the phone with a banking agent, them asking me to spell my name out 8 times and answer 16 questions about when I opened my account and at what frequencies I deposit. I had to give them pin numbers I didn't remember creating and they told me if there was a single mistake there was no guarantee they could recover the funds for me.Lady on the phone clearly had a long day and was being a bitch, I had to wait another 15 minutes as they transferred my department, then we got to the waiting phase where we had to wait 4 business days that turned into 2 weeks for the money to show up. 3 trips to the bank later my parents can finally withdraw it, after paying a 4.5% conversion fee and a bunch of other bullshit. It was that day I realized Crypto isn't just the future. It's here now. It's genuinely easier to pay with Crypto.. Than it is with banks...And don't even get me started on Paypal. Fuck me has it fucked me over. via /r/CryptoCurrency https://ift.tt/2GCmdl7 Have you ever done a wire transfer?I used to think Bitcoin would change the world.
